Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is provided in English. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.

AI My uses a token model. When you sign up, we grant 10 tokens on first sign-in (one-time). AI My Pro is $9/month and includes 100 tokens per billing cycle, with 50% off any overage. You can top up your wallet at any amount between $5 and $500 via Stripe; standalone balances and Pro overage charges are billed from your wallet.

Each product action (generating a resume, running an interview, surfacing an opportunity) consumes tokens at the cost displayed before the action. Pro users draw from their 100-token monthly grant first; once exhausted, overage is billed from the wallet at 50% off the standard rate. Tokens and wallet balance never expire.

Refunds. If a product action fails before producing output, we automatically refund the charge. If a product action produces output you’re unhappy with, email us and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair.

Top-up refunds. Within 14 days of a top-up, you may request a refund of any unused balance. We’ll deduct any Stripe processing fees ($0.30 + 2.9%) and return the remainder.

AI My Pro is a $9/month (or $89/year) subscription that grants 100 included tokens every billing cycle. Included tokens reset at the start of each cycle and do not roll over. Every operation across the AI My suite (resumes, cover letters, bios, coaching, Dreams, Mock Interviews, Voice Interviews, Value Reports, Scout matches, and any other product) is metered in tokens; the per-operation cost is published on the pricing page. When you exceed the 100 included tokens in a billing cycle, every operation is billed at 50% of the standard pay-as-you-go price against your wallet balance. You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate. Wallet balance keeps working after cancellation.

We reserve the right to rate-limit or contact you if usage patterns indicate automated abuse, resale, or other behavior outside ordinary individual use.

Resumes, bios, interview transcripts, coach summaries, and any other content you generate via the Service are yours to keep, modify, and use however you like. We claim no ownership of your output.

However, output is generated by an AI model. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always review before using output in a real application, interview, or salary negotiation.

You agree not to:

• Submit content you don’t have the right to use, including copyrighted material or another person’s identity.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or train another AI model on our prompts or responses.
• Abuse the wallet or signup credit system through bots, multiple accounts, or other automation.
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or designed to deceive recruiters about a candidate’s identity.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section. We will refund unused wallet balance on suspended accounts unless the violation involved fraud.

The Opportunity Scout is an automated agent that runs nightly. It queries public job feeds and surfaces matches to your inbox. The Scout never contacts a recruiter, applies to a job, or sends an email on your behalf without your explicit click-to-approve. Currently the Scout queries: RemoteOK, WeWorkRemotely, and the Hacker News “Who is hiring” thread. We will update this list as we add sources, and we will not silently expand the Scout’s scope to data sources you haven’t consented to.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. If the Service is unavailable when you try to use it, no charge is taken against your wallet. We are not liable for indirect damages caused by Service unavailability — for example, missing a job application deadline because the resume tool was down.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR ANY SPECIFIC PURPOSE.

AI My is not a recruiter, a resume reviewer, a labor lawyer, or a financial advisor. Output is provided for your reference and use, not as professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have spent through your wallet in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms. On termination, we refund your unused wallet balance unless the termination involved fraud, in which case the funds are held pending review.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Day-of-launch tweaks (typo fixes, formatting, clarifications) may be made without notice. The current version is always available at this URL.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
